LUX Swindon

Turkish restaurant, Swindon

A brand from scratch: when LUX opened, the room was ready and nothing else was — no logo, no website, no way to be found.

What we did

The brief

LUX opened with no logo, no website and no online presence at all. They needed a name and look people would recognise, a site that evokes the luxurious premium feel of LUX combined with Turkish authenticity, and a way for guests to read the menu, reserve a table or order for collection through the website or by phone. Behind the scenes the team also needed one place to run service from, instead of paper and separate apps.

What we built

The LUX Swindon homepage, with the restaurant name over a dark dining room photograph
The homepage, set to the same mood as the room, with booking within reach at the top.

On a phone

The same site on a phone, where most guests actually find it.

The LUX Swindon home screen on a phone, with buttons to reserve a table and view the menu
The home screen on a phone, with booking and the menu both a thumb away.
The LUX phone navigation open, listing the sections of the site
The phone menu: five sections and a booking button, nothing else.
A collection order basket on a phone showing three items and a subtotal
A collection order in progress, with the total always in sight.

What's next

We host the site and look after it monthly, updating the menu and photographs as the kitchen changes them. Next comes TikTok, then Facebook, then paid advertising built around local awareness and reservations.
