Questions we get asked
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Restaurants, cafés, pubs and hotels, and plenty of small local businesses too. Our hospitality background shapes how we work, but you do not need to run a venue to work with us.
Can you replace my current website?
Yes. We look at what you have, tell you what is worth keeping and agree the rest before we start. Nothing goes missing without your say-so.
How long will it take?
Typically 2–3 weeks for a small site, 3–4 for a bigger one and 5–6 if we are designing your brand too. That starts once we have your words, pictures and approvals.
What do you need from me?
A short conversation about your business and what you want the site to do. Send us your logo, any pictures you like, and the address of your current site if you have one.
Do I have to write the words?
You send us your text and we tidy the wording, fix the typos and lay it out so it reads well. If you get stuck on a page, we can write it for you for a fixed price per page, agreed before we start.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Every site is checked on phones, tablets and computers before it goes live, because most of your customers will be looking on a mobile.
Is VAT included?
Yes. Every price we show includes VAT at 20%, so the number you see is the number you pay. If your business is VAT registered, your invoice shows the VAT separately so you can claim it back.
Will I be first on Google?
Nobody can promise that. We set your site up so Google understands it and can find you from day one. Where you rank also depends on your competition and how active you are.
Can people book a table through the site?
We can add a booking request form that emails you the moment someone fills it in, or connect a booking tool you already pay for. We do not build booking software ourselves yet.
Can I make changes myself?
You can, if you would like a simple editing screen for things like opening hours, pictures or menu items. We price that separately. Otherwise send us the change and we make it for you.
